one year of wedded bliss!

Yes thats right Vivek and I have completed one year of marriage today...and what a wonderful year it has been!

I really can't believe that its been a year already....time really does fly!
so today we will go out and have a quiet dinner...just the two of us (we like our own company the best :) and maybe we'll go out shopping over the weekend. We did however have a short but wonderful pre-anniversary holiday in Aurangabad....to see the Ajanta and Ellora caves!!! I had a super time and was awestruck by the beauty of our country! You can find some pictures from our beautiful holiday on my other blog "and another".

Cheers to us and the wonderful thing called marriage!

yes i am yes i am...:) no i don't know how it'll go, yes it is really small...but you will come won't you? and if you can't you will ask your friends to come won't you? yes i know yes i know that you all wish me all the luck...and yes i do yes i do have hope !!!

Coffee stains: Wedding Photographers

First of all I love the name! Chanced upon this Bangalore based company via facebook while going through a colleagues' wedding pictures and I am so glad I did. Their collection is awesome. Here are some pics for you to feast on!

wedding on the beach

Attended a beach wedding recently...at the lalit intercontinental, Cancona beach, Goa and it was a lot of fun...the arrangements and decor was beautiful.....i wish i had more pics to share...just that Ican't handle both a camera and a sari together yet!

jamawar brocade

Remember this fabric that I had bought sometime back...well I had a sherwani style jacket stitched and guess what...it turned out great I wore it with purpule pajamis and a beige silk kameez... 

I wore this on my brother's haldi ceremony...oh I did tell you didn't I....that my brother got married on the 1st of december....!!! Will share the pics as soon as I have them!

Band Baaja Baaraat

Have you seen this new Yash Raj Movie yet? If not then I suggest you go and see it...it is definitely worth a watch especially if you are a wedding planner or are planning your own wedding!!

 The movie is a riot of colour and full of inspiration...be it clothes or wedding decor :)

 I particularly loved this blue suit that Anushka Sharma is wearing...well all her clothes are super!!

The cast of the film is so refreshing and cheerful....it is a complete paisa vasool movie..and Indian Wedding Theme can hardly go wrong in hindi cinema don't you think??

 Even the songs of the movie are good!!

I do think however that the North Indians are going to enjoy the movie more than anyone else...The film is shot in Delhi, home to some of the grandest weddings in India!!

I recently got in touch with this awesome wedding photographer Priyanka Daga, who hails from Bangalore and is currently doing her Masters in Digital Imaging from Goldsmiths University of London.
Priyanaka also studied textile design from Srishti School of Design Bangalore..
