my brother is getting married

Oh...so before anything I must clarify...I am happily married (20th January 2010) now and settled in Pune (hop on to my other blog to find out what I do there www.kanikabahl.blogspot.com)

Now my brother is getting married...in December yes...and I will soon have more fodder for this blog :)

I got Married in January early this year and my brother will get married in December...one full year but later we'll get to celebrate our anniversaries pretty close to each other..and thats three since my parents got married in November!

i am super excited and ready for some bhangra now!

World’s most expensive jewellery.

It was commissioned by Maharaja Bhupinder Singh of Patiala.

Short history.

In 1888 De Beers Consolidated Mines company was formed. A short while later a huge light yellow octahedral crystal was found in the De Beers mine (picture given below). The gem weighed 428.50 carats (old weight) and measured 47.6 mm x 38.1 mm. It was the largest diamond found at the Kimberly mines during that period. It is the 7th largest diamond in the world.
